Are you an experienced custodian looking for a great day porter/floater job?
Schedule
Day shift: Mon - Fri
Shift time: 5-6 hours/day
20-30 hours per week
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Travel between various sites in Livonia and the surrounding areas each day to perform janitorial work and special projects
- On-call to fill in for other day shift cleaners as needed.
- Pulling trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping, cleaning restrooms, operating walk-behind floor scrubber (as needed)
- Perform light maintenance and repairs (as needed)
- Pick-up various parts and supplies
- Ability to work with others efficiently
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven consistent working experience as a janitor (3-5 years)
- Maintenance and repair skills are a plus
- Ability to travel between sites each day
- Ability to operate a floor scrubber (will train)
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Trainable and good communicator
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable mode of transportation (personal vehicle, public transit) -No Uber, Lyft, etc.
- Pass background check
