Operations Management:
- Directing and coordinating daily janitorial operations across multiple sites or clients.
- Developing and implementing operational procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
Personnel Management:
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising janitorial staff.
- Assist with managing employee schedules, time and attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Providing guidance, support, and disciplinary action when needed.
- Fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Client Relations:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Conducting regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure client satisfaction.
- Seeking feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement.
Financial Management:
- Assist with managing the budget for the janitorial services department.
- Monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure profitability.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Business Development:
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Participating in sales activities, such as networking and presentations.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in janitorial or facility management, including supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices.
